Nobile Wine Tour
(Montepulciano area)

The Wine Tour with driver in Montepulciano will take you to the discovery of some of the most beautiful wineries of Vino Nobile without the worry of the guide. Montepulciano is a splendid Renaissance town, rich in art, history and culture, famous throughout the world for the production of excellent wines.
Vino Nobile has been produced in this area for centuries with Sangiovese "Prugnolo Gentile" and other red grapes such as Canaiolo and Mammolo.

We will leave from your accommodation after breakfast, in order to reach the old medieval village of Montepulciano. The "Nobile" winemaking has long been intertwined with the history of Montepulciano: this wine is made from 70% of Sangiovese "Prugnolo Gentile" grape variety and from 30% of other local red-berry-vine varieties, such as Cannaiolo and Mammolo. We will then reach the first winery for the visit and the wine tasting of "Nobile": here the knowledgeable staff will explain in English all the winemaking process that is necessary to go through to make this fine wine. In the late morning we will move on to another winery< where, in addition to the wine tasting and the visit, you can stop for lunch, savoring some excellent local cuisine.
For those who like this option better, it will be possible to have lunch inside the town walls that surround the historical center of Montepulciano, booking one of the many typical restaurants. After lunch we will reach the third winery, where we will end this day with the last “Nobile” wine tasting, bringing with us such a good memory of this wonderful experience. We will go back to your accommodation in the late afternoon.

Duration of the itinerary: 8 hours.
